Wage rates in awards will increase from the first full pay period commencing on or after 1 July 2012 by 2.9% - at the same time, a number of allowances will increase too. This will either be because the 'standard rate' on which the allowance is based has increased, or because the various CPI-related allowances have been increased by a Fair Work Australia determination.
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of allowances, and this post does not include the description of the situations in which the allowance is payable. For that, you would need to refer to the awards themselves, which can be found at Fair Work Australia.

Timber Industry Award 2010
- Leading hand supervising 2-6 employees - $23.30 per week
- Leading hand supervising more than 6 employees - $36.01 per week
- Use of employee's own motor vehicle - 75 cents per kilometre
- Meal allowance - $12.58 per occasion incurred
- Tool allowance for furnishing tradespeople - $14.38 per week
- First aid allowance - $14.12 per week
- Employee require to launder uniform - $3.55 per week
- Meal allowances - $13.64 and $10.92
- Use of employee's own motor vehicle - 75 cents per kilometre
- First aid allowance - $10.60 per week
- Employee require to launder uniform - $6.25 per week
- Meal allowances - $16.15 and $14.62
- Use of employee's own motor vehicle - 75 cents per kilometre
- First aid allowance - $9.18 per week
- Leading hand supervising 3-10 employees - $30.90 per week
- Leading hand supervising 10-20 employees - $46.16 per week
- Leading hand supervising more than 20 employees - $58.76 per week
- Use of employee's own motor vehicle - 75 cents per kilometre
- Meal allowance - $12.58 per occasion incurred
